- Leap® Original

The core of Leap® is made from a leftover apple waste and natural rubber (NR) blend. Enhanced with a textile backing made from either TENCEL Lyocell fibers or knitted recycled polyester, and finished with a water-based, partially bio-based PU coating to ensure durability. Everything inside Leap® is there for a reason, and we’re not holding anything back. We stay authentic to our raw material by refusing to add anything that’s not necessary, saying no to animal products or toxic chemicals.

Leap® contains around 38% upcycled apple pulp waste - a leftover material from the juice industry.
Regular Cleaning: Wipe Leap with a dry or a damp soft cloth. Let it air dry naturally before use.
Dirt & Stain Removal: Use a universal cleaner or mild soap, wipe it off immediately to protect the surface. Avoid scrubbing hard—use gentle cleaning only. Do not machine wash or iron Leap®. Diluted chlorine - 1dL to 5L water (rinse with water after).
Safe Cleaning Products Only: Avoid using harsh products like detergents, ammonia, oils, polish, varnish, alcohol, acetone, or undiluted bleach. Use mild soap or universal cleaners to preserve quality.
Water Contact: Leap® is highly water-resistant but not waterproof - If any spills occur, wipe them up immediately to prevent stains. Avoid pouring liquids directly on the surface. To improve water resistance, apply a silicone-free impregnation spray (testing it first on a hidden area).
Storing: Leap® is designed to withstand daily use and light exposure to moisture. It’s best to store Leap at room temperature. If storing for an extended period, add silica gel sachets to the box to prevent moisture buildup.

Leap® is produced on rolls with a width of 1,5m in Germany.
Leap® is also being produced with a recycled polyester knit backing, if the products require a more flexible material.
Leap® currently comes in 4 different textures and 6 different colours, and it is possible to customise the colours.
Leap® Plus and Leap® Flex comply with the EU Ecolabel requirements for coated fabrics used in upholstery.
